Terms & Conditions

All you need to know about our Gift Cards

  1. These terms & conditions refer to Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards (known collectively as “Gift Card(s)”). The terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.
  2. Gift Cards can be purchased with a minimum value of £10 and have a maximum value of £1000. e-Gift cards have a minimum value of £10 and a maximum value of £200.
  3. Promotion codes, discounts and offers cannot be used to purchase Gift Cards, unless expressly indicated.
  4. Gift Cards are redeemable in any Axminster Tools store, when ordering on the phone, by mail order or online at axminstertools.com (subject to the website terms and conditions). At certain times exclusions may apply where a Gift Card cannot be used to make a particular purchase. Axminster reserves the right to amend these exclusions at any time.
  5. Gift Cards can only be purchased and redeemed in the UK.
  6. Online orders for Gift Cards will be dispatched separately to any product orders made in the same transaction. e-Gift Cards will be emailed to the recipient email address provided to us when the order is placed.
  7. When you use your Gift Card, the amount of your purchase will be deducted from the balance of the card. Change will not be given. Any balance on a Gift Card can be used as full or part payment on a future purchase.
  8. Balances cannot be transferred between cards.
  9. Gift Cards cannot be used to purchase Gift Cards (including e-Gift Cards).
  10. Gift Cards cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash and refunds will not be given for the purchase of a Gift Card. Refunds for items purchased with a Gift Card are subject to the Axminster Tools Returns Policy and the amount of the purchase price paid using a Gift Card will be reimbursed by way of a gift card or e-gift card. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  11. Gift Cards are valid for 24 months from the date of purchase. Any remaining balance left on the Gift Card after the expiry of the validity period will be cancelled and the Gift Card will become invalid and no longer available for use.
  12. A Gift Card that has been given or issued as part of a promotion will have variable expiry dates, please refer to the promotional material or information that will be accompanied with the Gift Card or e-Gift Card.
  13. Please look after your Gift Card and treat it like cash whilst it has a valid balance. You can check your balance at https://giftcards.axminstertools.com/balance, at any Axminster Tools store or by calling our Customer Service Team on 03332 406406.
  14. Axminster Tools accepts no liability for lost, stolen or damaged Gift Cards. Axminster Tools cannot be held responsible for the unauthorised use of your Gift Card where the Gift Card number and/or PIN have become known to another party.
  15. Axminster Tools reserves the right to refuse to accept a Gift Card which it deems to have been tampered with, duplicated, damaged, altered, or which is otherwise suspected of being potentially fraudulent.
  16. Axminster Tools will cancel the value of the Gift Card if we discover that it has been purchased fraudulently or if there has been any fraudulent activity surrounding the Gift Card.
  17. Axminster Tools reserves the right to update and change these terms and conditions at any time. This does not affect your statutory rights. Purchase or use of our Gift Cards constitutes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions. Your Gift Card is the property of Axminster Tools who reserves the right to cancel the Gift Card in situations where it is deemed necessary.
  18. e-Gift Cards are normally sent within two hours when ordered during the hours of 8am and 5pm, pending the normal fraud checks. If you have selected a future delivery date, your e-Gift Card will be emailed the morning of your chosen date. If for any reason your e-Gift Card does not arrive please contact our customer Service Team on 03332 406406.
  19. Replacement Gift Cards will be posted to your registered home address only. Replacement e-Gift Cards will be emailed to the original recipient email address provided to us when the original order was placed.
  20. Gift Cards are issued by Axminster Tool Centre Ltd a company registered in England whose registered office is at: Unit 10 Weycroft Avenue, Axminster, Devon EX13 5PH, United Kingdom.
